All programmes and comparison →We sign the contract and start preparing for your arrival in Czechia. We collect and check the necessary documents, help to arrange your legal stay and accompany you at every stage until you arrive and start studying.
The contract is signed with the Academy's legal entity – Institut jazykové a odborné přípravy s.r.o. (Prague). Everything included in the programme is fixed in the contract – no hidden fees.

You are not left alone with moving to and studying in a new country. From the preparation for arrival until university admission, a personal curator stays with the student: helps to settle into life in Czechia, deals with everyday and organisational matters, tracks academic progress and reminds about key deadlines.

Most state universities require B2. Our programmes are designed to reach B2 from scratch in 10 months at 25 hours per week. We monitor progress throughout the course, so students arrive at their exams prepared – not hoping for the best.
Czech is a Slavic language, so it comes noticeably easier to Russian and Ukrainian speakers than, say, German or French: familiar grammar logic and plenty of related vocabulary. With systematic study and daily immersion, B2 within an academic year is a realistic, repeatedly proven goal.
Yes. Degree programmes taught in Czech at state universities are free of charge – for international students too. That's why a year of language preparation is an investment that saves tens of thousands of euros compared to paid English-taught programmes.
Yes, but it's paid: English-taught programmes in the Czech Republic cost from about €17,000 for 5 years of study and up. We have a dedicated track for this – Studying in English: 736 hours of English and the same full support all the way to admission. At a consultation we'll compare both paths honestly – English and Czech.
There are no formal age limits for Czech universities. Most of our students are school graduates aged 16–22, but we also work with older students, including those changing fields or returning to education after a break.
We track every student's attendance and progress and stay in touch with the family from the start of the course until every question is resolved. Parents get a clear picture: attendance, assessment results, teachers' comments – and can always reach us directly.
It's not the end of the road. We work through the situation, help protect legal status and build a new educational path. For those already in the Czech Republic there's a dedicated programme – the Visa extension courses.
Yes. We have official partnerships with ČZU (Czech University of Life Sciences) and VŠCHT (University of Chemistry and Technology); in 2025 we are ČZU's largest partner. Our teaching format is approved by ČZU, VŠCHT and the Czech Academy of Sciences, and our programmes are aligned with university requirements.
We take part in educational projects together with the Prague City Hall, including accessible and free programmes for foreigners. Availability and conditions depend on the specific project – ask at the consultation what is currently open. Students from Ukraine are eligible for special terms and an additional discount on Academy programmes – contact us and we'll share the details.
Transparently and in stages. The initial payment is €1,000: it covers document preparation, the official invitation and visa support. The remaining amount is paid after the visa is granted and studies begin; instalments are possible – let's discuss at a consultation. No hidden extras: everything included in the programme is fixed in a contract with the Academy's legal entity.
